I love fairy tales! I love the kind of fairy tale where good conquers evil, where kindly people build a kindly community and wrongdoers gain wisdom.

Sadly, current history proves that doesn’t exist, instead we fete the anti hero, raise individualism and tribal membership while our society crumbles. As winter fell in Australia in 2020 my city responded to the pandemic with a long, hard lock down because without a cure the only preventative was isolation. This came immediately after the horror of bushfires that scorched the country and decimated its wildlife.

Against these plagues I turned to my writing to create the perfect world where my characters are smart, ethical people who do the right thing. Yes, it’s my fantasy and I hope you’ll enjoy sharing it.

In the Tollans Cove series my characters respond to the everyday horrors you see in your newsfeed. Take comfort from their solutions but, spoiler alert, since I’m a closet megalomaniac I deliver harsh outcomes to those who fail to reform when they’ve behaved appallingly.

Just as in all the best romance stories, all my main characters have very happy lives. Enjoy sharing their journey.
